In
1969, a Dane named Aage A. Justesen established B&J Machine Works, Inc. in Scuffleton,
NC. After living in the United States for just eleven years, Aage's first facility was an
old grocery store with wooden floors. With five pieces of equipment and two employees,
Aage grew his company by applying skill and dedication to new challenges. With help from
his oldest son Jon, Aage built a long-standing reputation for excellence and versatility.
Although Aage passed on in 1993, his sons have been carrying on the tradition. Today, B&J Machine Works, Inc. has over 35,000 square feet of floor space and over thirty highly skilled employees using some of the latest equipment available. We provide what we like to think of as a one stop shop. With our machining and machine building services complimented by a complete range of welding capabilities, we're able to maintain a lasting relationship with some of our first customers such as Dupont. B&J is committed to providing products and services of a quality that exceeds the continuing needs and expectations of our customers. This commitment has allowed us to achieve and sustain a reputation for quality at competitive prices. We provide products that meet the performance, quality, reliability, and safety requirements of our customers. Customer satisfaction is the basis upon which all our programs are planned and maintained. We believe that the proper execution of such programs result in cost reductions and continuous improvements. |
